AMC for Hardware
covers support for Servers, Client/ work stations, Desktops, Laptops, Printers,
UPS, Network setup etc. AMC providers offer services across Manufacturers or
Brands but the same does not go with the Software.
AMC of
software is a specialized service and can only be provided by the individual
who either is trained on the system, has developed it or have been involved in
the development of the software.
Hardware
System maintenance covers diagnosing the problems & resolving it remotely
or on making personal visits as per the case.
Sometimes the component is repaired if repairable or else the component
is replaced or upgraded. In some deals service providers offer standby units
till the system is down based on the agreement signed as AMC. Networking may be
wireless, Fiber optics or any standard cat6 cables using switches, routers,
modems, firewalls or any such things all are covered as per the contract.

Computer Consultants offers System Annual Maintenance to only select Clients
having atleast 5 or more computer units. For bigger installation, we station our
engineer on the location itself, however it purely depends upon the client’s
need and the cost of AMC.
Software
Annual maintenance ensures immediate resolving of issues as well as free
upgrades made available to all the AMC clients, with regard to all the
utilities or development done on the software. AMC for the software can only be
taken up, if the software source code is available along with the proper User
as well as technical documentations of the software.
Omniscient
Computer Consultants provides Software AMC contract only for the software
provided by us. ERP, CRM, SCM or any such product from us can be taken up for
AMC. Any new development such as a new module or major structural changes in
the software is always treated as a new job and does not come under AMC cover,
hence are chargeable case on case basis.
